It must be madness, the way we let things devour us. The way we let the things we want out, back in.
And the horror of it all we stay attracted to everything that hurts. We cling to it and never really learn to let go.
So perhaps we do want happiness. But we also desire to keep the pain close. Close enough to destroy us. Close enough to define us. And close enough to make us feel a little less cold.
Life is fragile, sudden and, often shorter than it seems. There may not be a tomorrow. Right now there is someone planning to do something tomorrow, not realizing, that they’re going to die tonight.
Spend your time wisely. Spend it with the people you love, TODAY! Spend it with the ones that make you feel important, loved and happy! Spend your time doing things that make you and others smile.
Time is a gift. Its the only gift that cant be returned. Once a moment has passed its gone forever and you wont ever get it back. So remember that when you allow others to make you unhappy! That time you waste arguing or crying is time that you could’ve spent laughing.
Life is too damn short for drama, bullshit or anything that is less than amazing!
You’ll receive more flowers after you die than when you’re alive because regret is stronger than gratitude.
Ask anybody what they want to be, they’ll all have different things to say. But if we are observant enough, we’ll realise that underneath all those hopes, wishes and aspirations there is one thing they all want to be, happy. It’s only human nature of complicating things. we find ourselves always searching for “something” that seems just out of reach. When we do get the chance to grasp it, we ruin it by overthinking, pulling back and not letting things fall into their place. Maybe it is the expectation that fucks it all up, maybe happiness is not something to achieve but something to be discovered, and maybe we do find it but only in the smallest moments which we fail to recognise and embrace it, live it or even let go of it, for good. It is the thought that happiness is a everlasting state which prevents us from realising that we have had our fair share of it.
When we do realise this, when we choose to be happy, then there aint no stopping us. The days become a little more pleasant, the nights a little more serene, life gets a little more beautiful!
